Installation of an up-to-air valve allows you to vent your chamber to atmosphere or backfill your chamber with the inert gas of your choice. Up-to-air valves are available in two mounting configurations: center-mounted or side-mounted. Center-mounted valves are welded to the flange, whereas side-mounted valves are sealed to a female NPT port installed on the circumferential edge of a double-sided CF flange. Up-to-Air valves are fitted with ¼” ports, are manually actuated, and are bellows sealed. The standard port termination on the downstream side of the valve is tube end. Please contact the factory if a Swagelok, VCR, or other configuration is required.
