The foreline adsorption pumps provides a low cost non-rechargeable shield for your vacuum system from the effects of pump fluid backstreaming. The trapping element is a durable, ubiquitous dense copper or stainless steel that is held in place by recessed steel screens. The housing is electro-polished 304 stainless steel. Service by replacing the contaminated trap. Cleaning of the contaminated trap is possible though the process is lengthy.
Which filtration element is right for my application?
- Copper:highly reactive for maximum effectiveness in trapping backstreaming pump oil hydrocarbons. However, this causes the trap to require more frequent cleaning service than other filtration materials.
- Stainless Steel:excellent effectiveness in trapping backstreaming pump oil hydrocarbons. Maximizes time between cleaning service. Better performance in corrosive environments.
